GOTS the Global Organic Textile Standard is the world's leading certification for organic textiles. It's not just about the cotton in the field. GOTS follows every fiber from the farm all the way to the finished garment, verifying that nothing toxic enters the process at any step.

To earn GOTS certification, a product must meet strict requirements at every stage of production:

• No synthetic pesticides or fertilizers on the cotton crop

• No toxic dyes, bleaches, or chemical finishes during manufacturing

• No formaldehyde, heavy metals, or phthalates in the final garment

• No flame retardants which is a common hidden chemical in conventional baby clothing

• Ethical labor practices verified at every facility in the supply chain

Less than 1% of global cotton production meets this standard.
